Article by Ian Jewa

Life can be defined as the period between the birth and the death a living thing especially a human being. The journey of life can be bifurcated into four aspects; physical, mental, spiritual and emotional. The four aspects always go hand in hand. Physical health and mental health are tangible aspects and emotional and spiritual aspects are intangible aspects. Channelizing the inner energy through meditation and physical activities is the key to achieving full potential. Compassion and gratitude help in attaining emotional intelligence. Now let's check how to change life for better.

Through life experience.

They say that experience is the best teacher rather learning from other people's experiencs can also change your life for the better. Everyone has that one experience that makes them look at life with a new set of eyes. My life changing experience happened a little earlier than most. I learned from my own experience. During the holiday after my first year in the university. I choose to look for a job. I didn't want to idle around so I got a job as a salesman agent. I can say my life changed through the experience I got. I became more serious since my parents left me to pay my own bills. However the wages from the job were very low. This made me to be responsible because it came to my notice that life is tough. This changed my attitude into a great and positive one.

Getting out of your comfort zone.

Life feels secure and comfortable when we are living in our comfort zone. Finding the motivation to leave is difficult more often than we’d like to acknowledge. However, the more we stay in our comfort zones, the more chances we lose to truly engage with human experience. It requires willpower and a shift in perspective to learn how to step outside of your comfort zone. Each action you take to zone out of your comfort zone results in achievement, learning, and personal development.

Having a healthy mental health.

Mental health affects how we think, feel and act. It also affects our everyday life, such as work, relationships and study. Looking after our social and emotional wellbeing is as important as keeping our body healthy. When we're feeling emotionally healthy we can be fully present with our family, friends and community.Mental health is more than just talking about mental health conditions, like anxiety or depression. Research shows that good mental health is linked to:

improved learning, creativity, higher levels of productivity, better social relationships, good physical health and increased life expectancy.
