My first time meeting Lecturer James.
Article by Ian Jewa
Mr. James is a lecturer out of this world. He is currently working at the Technical University of Mombasa under the communication studies department around E-learning building. He is so unpredictable. At first I judged him from his looks. He was dressed very simple and had a simple haircut. Surely "do not judge a book by it's cover" is a proverb that I can firmly use at this point because from what I taught, he is totally different. He is friendly, outspoken and outstanding. He made me glued to his lecture on his first lesson.
What a flamboyant lecturer he is. He made us became so emotional then boom! make us laugh in the next minute. His piece of advice from his experience in article writing gave me hope that I will improve on the same area. He also shared a narration on how he was able to save someone's life just by talking to them about mental health. This is to say that Mr. James also has some phycological and therapist skills.
The knowledge he shared on mental health opened my eyes that I can actually have a word with him whenever depression knocks my door. Mr. James share his life experience on the same about how having brown teeth affected his self-esteem. He defined self-esteem as the feel or thought that one has towards himself. Either positive or negative.
Indeed lecturer James is a teacher to behold. He shared knowledge on how one can achieve success saying that success is achieved by setting smaller goals and having the courage to accomplish them on time. He also said that a journalist should be able to achieve assignment on time and able to work under pressure. I can't wait to meet Mr. James for a piece of advice on my mental health.
