A trick to crack down any job interview and get that desired job

How you can crack down interviews and get that desired job.

Interviews being the interrogation that job seekers undergo to validate whether they have all the job qualifications and requirements. Most job seekers panic and are filled with anxiety once an interview is mentioned. It has come to my notice that a good number of job seekers who underwent an interview could not secure any. Not because they are not qualified but because they didn't have a better way to present themselves in front of the interviewers. I hope this piece of writing below will be of great help to them.

Good preparation helps you perform well during the interview. Similarly, some post-interview activities such as informing your referees and following up with the HR also increase your chances of success.

Review the job description

This information would help you customise your CV for the position and prepare for the questions the interviewer may ask. Try to analyse your strengths and weaknesses to those required by the job to decide how you are required to approach the interview.

Research the company

Visit the company's website and its social media accounts to learn about its mission, business and work culture. Knowing more about the company and the interviewer would help you align your response with the company culture and values.

 Revise your CV

Highlight your skills and strengths that the employer has explicitly specified. Pick up some prominent keywords from the job description and the company profile, and use them in your resume. Make sure the information you provide is genuine and honest.

 Be on time

Plan your travel to reach the interview venue at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Showing up early for the interview shows that you value time. It also gives you some time to relax and freshen up yourself, especially after a long, tiring journey.

In conclusion I add the following. Follow  the proper dress code, present yourself well, speak clearly during the interview, listen patiently, highlight your skills and achievements, use positive body language, be precise, focused and ask appropriate questions when need be. Finally provide your references of  follow up to state your name, position applied for and the interview date to help them recall you easily. Follow-up is usually helpful in cases where you are on a waiting list or the company is undecided on choosing between two or more candidates.
